Ordinary corrosion-resistant pumps are mostly single-stage impellers or single-stage double suction rotors. When inspecting, first check the appearance of the impeller and clean it thoroughly. Whether replacing spare parts to install new impellers or cleaning old impellers, maintain static balance after reinstallation and dynamic balance if necessary. Ensure that the key contacts the keyway correctly when installing the impeller. Compared to the shaft diameter of the rotor, the allowable bending is below 0.013mm. For low-speed shafts, the maximum bending is below 0.07mm, and for high-speed shafts, the maximum bending is below 0.04mm.

For the shaft of the rotor section, the amplitude of the shaft after inspection is below 0.013mm, the protrusion is below 0.02mm, the amplitude of the lamp head of the impeller is below 0.04mm, and the amplitude of the end face of the impeller is below 0.23mm. The shaft diameter at both ends is below 0.02mm. However, for centrifugal pumps with complex structures, the above data may vary depending on the condition standards of the pump.

When inspecting the corrosion-resistant pump casing, it is necessary to first use specialized tools to accurately remove the dynamic and static rings of the casing and check the wear of the end face. The pump rotor of the mechanical housing needs to undergo dynamic and static balance tests regardless of power. To prevent seal leakage, a clamping table can be used to press down on the moving and stationary surfaces, and water can be injected for leakage testing. If static water does not leak, it indicates that the surface roughness and flatness of the sealing surface meet the requirements. The perpendicularity deviation of the end face during installation should be below 0.015mm.

After installation, the axial clearance of the shaft is below 0.45mm. It should be noted that after the mechanical seal is installed as required, it must be installed on the vehicle and the cooling water part must be checked for reliability to prevent leakage and damage to the sealing surface after rotation. The mechanical seals used in chemical plants for pumps are mostly single-stage, two-stage, and series sealing configurations, but no sealing configuration should leak.
